My Weather Station: Become a Cloud Genius!
What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Join me on an exciting adventure as we learn about clouds! In this one time class, we will learn cloud and weather facts, talk about our favorite types of weather and complete a fun and creative cloud craft! Students will learn the three main types of clouds, their characteristics, where they get their names and more exciting facts about clouds, including how they are formed. As we discuss shapes that clouds make that may look like a bear, a dog, an airplane or a puddle of milk, students may take turns sharing experiences they have seeing real cloud shapes. We will talk about weather events and which clouds might produce rain, snow or storms and which might be a sign of a pretty day. I have a personal passion for weather and for teaching it to young learners in a fun way. Weather is a wonderful example of how learning opportunities are all around us. We can walk outside, look at the clouds and be familiar with what kind they are and what they might mean in terms of the weather. There is so much to learn about clouds! Let's go on this weather journey together. I am looking forward to seeing you in class!
