Week 1Lesson 1Introduction to Personal Style and Wardrobe ExplorationWhat is Personal Style? A brief interactive presentation discussing personal style, its importance, and how it can express one's personality and values. Wardrobe Inventory: Guidance on how to do a creative inventory of their current wardrobe. Students will be encouraged to pull out items they love, seldom wear, or have forgotten about.Lesson 2Style Inspiration and ShowcaseMood Board Sharing: Students present their mood boards and discuss the elements of style that resonate with them. Mix and Match Workshop: With the wardrobe inventory at hand, students will be encouraged to mix and match pieces to create new outfits, guided by tips and principles on color coordination, layering, and accessorizing. Style Reflection: A guided reflection session where students discuss how their perception of personal style has evolved over the week.
By participating in this workshop, students will achieve the following specific learning outcomes: 1. Understand the Concept of Personal Style: Learn what personal style is and recognize its significance in expressing individuality and values. Distinguish between personal style and current fashion trends, understanding how to blend the two. 2. Conduct a Creative Wardrobe Inventory: Master the technique of evaluating their existing wardrobe to identify items that reflect their personal style. Learn to organize their clothing effectively, distinguishing between frequently worn items and those that are seldom used or forgotten. 3.
