Maestra Zia is a native Spanish speaker and has two degrees from the University of Puerto Rico. She lived on the island for over 20 years and has worked with the Department of Education there teaching children from Kindergarten through High school. She has also successfully raised fully bilingual children of her own. 
Maestra Zia greatly enjoys providing simultaneous interpretation for the Hispanic and English-speaking community where she lives. 

Homework Offered
Please note that class will require some preperation on the student's part. Materials for hands-on activities might be needed on some weeks and parents should be willing to print out optional worksheets as well.
