Get ready to read, write and speak in Spanish! In this 12 week semester class we will learn Spanish in context through stories. This class is for beginners but it will be important for learners to already be reading and writing in English in order to get the most out of this class. Class will meet live two days a week but students are expected to engage in short activities posted to the classroom on three additional days. That's a total of 5 days practicing Spanish! This will allow them to reinforce the vocabulary, concepts and skills covered during our lessons. Weeks are themed and the speaking, writing and reading for the week will revolve around key words or phrases. Each week, we will focus on a set of new vocabulary words which we will see in context within our story. Students will need a binder, loose leaf paper and weekly printouts for this class.
