This class is designed to help your children practice their Spanish skills through creative activities, interactive games and stories. This club is for children who have basic, intermediate or advanced knowledge of Spanish and enjoy crafts, games and stories.

📍 My Spanish Club for Advanced Beginners: This club is tailored for children who have some basic knowledge of Spanish and want to take their language proficiency to the next level. My goal is to make language learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience for your child while fostering a love for the Spanish language and culture. This program is designed to build upon the foundational knowledge your child already possesses. I will expand their vocabulary, improve grammar, and enhance conversational skills in a structured yet enjoyable manner. I believe in hands-on learning. Through crafts, games, and songs, your child will actively participate using Spanish in real-life scenarios, making language learning more practical and effective. Only the students that are present in class that day will be allowed to play. 📌 Please check the classroom and print the PDFs for crafts and activities. It will be posted inside the classroom the day before each class. In order for students to complete the crafts they will need scissors, glue, colors, markers, or crayons, have the materials ready for each class in order tisane time. CLASS RECORDING POLICY: I do not share recordings of my group classes in order to protect the privacy of all learners (many parents do not feel comfortable with other families having access to videos that include their child). However, you are welcome to watch and participate with your child, OFF SCREEN, to comply with Outschool Policy, so that you can have access to the content. **During Game Days, students will review the vocabulary using interactive games from different websites including "Blooket". Students Do Not need to create a Blooket account. Students need Parental Permission to access Blooket.com/play and use a Game ID that I will provide, or to use the link that I will provide in the chat. Only the students that are present in class that day will be allowed to play. ***All material will be presented via Canva and screen shared by the teacher. The PDFs will also be screen shared by the teacher so they can be completed as an oral and written exercise.

Students will practice speaking, listening, following instructions in Spanish as well as developing their creativity and learning different facts.

Parental Guidance
Students will be using safety scissors, adult supervision should be provided, making sure to follow Outschool Policy for adults not to be on screen view.

Hello, I am Diana Vivas, I am a Kidding Around Yoga certified Instructor and an Official Zümbini Instructor. I have been helping families for more than 15 years organizing routines that included creative movement, math, reading and listening comprehension, when I looked for a Mindful and movement program to incorporate in my activities I noticed there weren’t many for younger children so I decided to get certified in Yoga for Children and Zümbini and teach it myself. I work with children using hands on exploration through social interaction and play, encouraged by music and using nature to help children learn about their environment.
During my College years, I worked for a language company in Colombia (CIL), I was trained by the owner in a conversational teaching method to teach ESL and Spanish to foreigners. It was a great opportunity to learn hands on how to teach others to communicate in other languages, how to teach children both in English and Spanish and how to be a bridge of knowledge in every subject that I was Certified. It was such a wonderful experience that I kept working for them for more than 8 years giving me vast training in handling English and Spanish classes, I now use that experience and the fact that I am a native Spanish speaker to share what I know with children and to help them cope with anxiety and stress through mindfulness and music.
