In this Halloween-themed art camp, we will make 3 projects using oil pastels and watercolor paints. Each day, students will be guided through making their own art. I will provide examples and offer choices for them to personalize their art rather than all reproducing the examples. I encourage creativity and using their own ideas to alter the art I show them. Each learner will need white paper, black paper, oil pastels, a pencil, watercolor paints, a cup of water, a paintbrush, scissors, and paper towels in case of spills. (Parents, please determine the degree of supervision required for your learners to use these supplies.)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
A parent should determine if their learner is capable of safely using the supplies, especially the scissors.
