I can help with that and more! This is an introductory class truly for beginners in Minecraft. I will help you get started with the very basics of setup. Even if you have some experience in Minecraft, you will enjoy this class for all of the tips and tricks I will show you. Check out the syllabus to see the details of what we will cover.... Each day I will share a new video of me showing you how to do these projects. Students will post pictures and videos of their work in the classroom, and I will provide feedback and answer questions via messages and video. Syllabus

over 4 WeeksLesson 1:
Introduction and settings
-make sure you are the only person playing in your own world
-understand the difference between creative and survival mode and choose where to play
-create a world that is totally flat
-make sure no monsters will appear in your game
-prevent TNT from exploding to destroy your builds
-help you name and organize your worlds to optimize storage

Lesson 2:
Controls, movement, inventory, search
-choose the time of day in your world
-control the weather while you play
-locate and use the search feature to find any blocks that you need
-unlock a special version of Minecraft called Education Edition which gives you access to periodic table blocks and more

Placing and breaking items, building, spawning animals
Learn how to start building and spawn pets

Lesson 4:
Taming a dog

This class is intentionally designed for students with unique learning needs. As a neurodivergent educator, I offer a wide variety of multi sensory activities to support many different learning styles such as ADHD, autism and more!
