Ponies, ponies, everywhere ponies! Welcome to Ponyville! Together students will be able to share their love of My Little Pony and all of their favorite things about the shows/books/toys. If your child has a My Little Pony shirt or costume to wear to class I encourage them to do so but it is not mandatory. In this one time class we will focus on all things My Little Pony! The structure of the class is as follows: -Warm up with introductions -Interact with show and tell. (The student's can bring their favorite My Little Pony item.) -Hear a fun My Little Pony song. -Read and discuss a My Little Pony story. -Enjoy sensory time with a coloring page or play-doh if there is time. __________________________________________________________ Please feel free to check out the other My Little Pony classes that I offer! Learning Goals
1. Practice active listening skills by listening to the book and other student's show and tell time.
2. Practice speaking and interacting with the teacher and other students.
3. Use critical thinking to describe their show and tell item and to ask questions to other students.
4. Enjoy sensory time with play-doh or coloring.
5. Use their memory during rhyme time.
6. Most importantly we will HAVE FUN with each other!

Supply List
Children can bring a favorite Pony item to show the class. They also have the choice of bringing a coloring sheet that I will provide or play doh to use!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Welcome!
When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
