Class Experience
Learn how to embrace your creativity and nurture your ideas. This course explores how to take an idea and develop it. You are going to listen to some stories, play some games and learn new things to help you feel your happiest, most confident and AWESOME self! We also do some mindfulness activities to help you learn to slow down and understand your thoughts & feelings. You also receive a top tip for how to embed these skills at home and an additional activity sheet after each session....
This course is not designed just for children who struggle with thinking creatively; we believe it’s healthy for all children to develop their creativity as it’s such an important skill. Learning from a young age to believe in your ideas and understand your potential is essential when it comes to developing self-efficacy and confidence. We know that innovation, problem solving and creative thinking are key skills when it comes to school, home and your child’s future; what better way to nurture these skills than through inspiring stories and fun activities. What are the benefits of these sessions? - Enhanced future job prospects: World Economic Forum ‘Future of Jobs Report’ (http://www3.weforum.org/docs/WEF_Future_of_Jobs_2020.pdf) consistently cites life skills as the most critical skills for the workplace. - Increased academic attainment: Numerous scientific papers identify the correlation between happiness and academic attainment - Improved mental health, particularly during a global pandemic
Meet Louise Treherne our Director of our Character Education Team: Louise develops new and exciting ways to help children explore our four key areas of collaboration, resilience, creativity and leadership, in order to be the best version of themselves. Louise has a degree in Psychology, 12 years experience as a teacher and 5 years as a Senior Deputy Head at a London Prep school. She now works as a Coach and Educational Consultant, which includes working in different educational settings, delivering training and staying up to date with all things Character Education related! Through her coaching, Louise works 1:1 with adults and children to help them move forward with specific goals, explore limiting beliefs and develop their direction and confidence. Louise has created our content which is taught by our Role Models. Our Role Models (teachers) are energetic, engaging, and curious educators who are passionate about encouraging your children to become the best version of themselves. All of our Role Models are hand-picked and trained by our education team. In order to become a Role Model, they must have ample experience working with groups of children. They must also be adept at combining educational rigour with fun, to create active learning environments that children love. We have a number of qualified teachers and actors on our team. However, each Role Model brings something unique to the table. You can find out more about our Role Models here: https://www.rolemodels.me/about-us/meet-our-role-models/.
