Class Experience
Do you love My Hero Academia and are looking for a semester art class? Want to sharpen your sketching skills and focus on anime profiles? This class is designed for you! In this 12-week intermediate course, students focus on the expressions of popular My Hero Academia characters. The topics that we will focus on in this course will include but not limited to; expressions, male vs. female, multiple angles, how to achieve this independently and be able to walk away to create ourselves into a...
Students will learn the following art/drawing fundamentals: ✅ Utilizing basic shapes to create a more complex form; the human head. ✅ Basic understanding of the male and female face. ✅ Proper measurements and proportions in regards to the human head. ✅ How to execute multiple angles of the face; front, 3/4th, side, tilt, up and down. ✅ How to properly apply different expressions that include but not limited to; anger, derpy, annoyed, happy, etc. ✅ The confidence to continue drawing the anime face on their own after the class has been completed.
Mrs. Vallarta has been focusing on anime/art on Outschool since February 2018. As a personal avid anime enthusiast, she is familiar with many series, genres, characters and can teach how to execute any aspect of this. Mrs. Vallarta has her Bachelors in Fine Arts and has taught art for 18+ years. Five of those years has been online. Mrs. Vallarta offers over 50 different types of courses that include but not limited to; general anime, anatomy, art, drawing, watercoloring and more.
Homework will be optional and highly beneficial. Homework outside of the classroom typically takes under an hour to complete.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
