Class Experience

Welcome to Mi Primera Clase de Español for Beginners- FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE!

This class is perfect for young Spanish beginner's who want to learn vocabulary and build their knowledge of Spanish with the convenience of learning on your own time! Students will send pictures of their work, send videos to teacher using key words and phrases, and reply to other students to build community in our classes. Students will be immersed in Spanish while learning about letter names and sounds, numbers,...

This class is taught in Spanish.

Students will learn letters A-D, colors blue, white, brown and gold. They will learn how to say and write numbers 1-4 and sing numbers 1-10. They will be learn bird, whale, horse, and dolphin in Spanish. Students will learn how to use basic sentences like "I see....", "I have...", "My name is..." and more!

After every class you will receive a worksheet that can be done from home. Students will complete the activities and can post photos of their homework to share with the teacher. Students will also complete a review quiz using Kahoot!

Students will need- 

-Weekly printout (or white paper)
-A pencil
-crayons or colored pencils
-an item to share

Assessment will be through our shared audio and video recordings on the classroom page. The teacher will reply individually to each child who posts a photo, worksheet, or video of themselves.

No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Please note: 
Kahoot! will be used for this class. You are not required to make an account prior to accessing any of our classroom quizzes. Kahoot is an Outschool Approved website and will serve as a great way for students to practice what they have learned. 

You will be given a link in the classroom each week where you will be able to go directly to the game without needing an additional device or account.

The only outside source to be used is Kahoot! You do not need an account to access this.
