My First Preschool Circle Time: 5 Days a Week! Fall Semester 65 Classes
In this small-group Preschool Circle Time, we will learn the days of the week, letters, numbers, and counting skills, and interact in a friendly setting. This class is great for little ones just starting to learn their letters.

Welcome to MY FIRST PRESCHOOL online experience and class! I'm so excited to be offering it again this fall! This virtual preschool circle time will meet 5 days a week, most weeks, for 25-28 minutes per day via zoom live classes. 65 total classes starting September 12th and ending on December 16th. "No Class" days are listed in the weekly schedule below. Students will be able to engage, interact, and get to know each other in our daily classroom setting. I will lead the class via song and call & response to encourage interaction. Students will learn to "raise a hand" and wait patiently while others are speaking. This is my FAVORITE class to teach on Outschool. In this semester-long course, we have a set group of students that get to know each other, become friends, and have a daily share time. Students have the opportunity to speak in every class. I encourage participation! Fall Semester: Letters A-M will be covered, as well as numbers 1-13. *A Winter/Spring Session will be offered to start January 2023 and will be a continuation of this class* Each week will focus on: Cognitive Theme of the Week Letter of the Week Number of the Week Daily Weather Days of the Week Shape of the Week Extension Activities every week include: Pre-writing Skills via 'air writing' Exploring Colors Letter Sounds Counting Skills Vocabulary Building Week 1: September 12-16 Cognitive Theme: Back to School Week 2: September 19-23 Cognitive Theme: On the Farm Week 3: September 26-30 Cognitive Theme: In the City Week 4: October 3-7 Cognitive Theme: My Home Week 5: October 10-14 Cognitive Theme: Pets Week 6: October 17-21 Cognitive Theme: Toys Week 7: October 24-28 Cognitive Theme: Fall Leaves Week 8: October 31-November 4 Cognitive Theme: Pumpkins Week 9: November 7-11 Cognitive Theme: My Face Week 10: November 14-18 Cognitive Theme: My Senses NO CLASS NOVEMBER 21-25 Week 11: November 28-December 2 Cognitive Theme: I Am Thankful Week 12: December 5-9 Cognitive Theme: Feelings Week 13: December 12-16 Cognitive Theme: Birthdays Weekly printables will be provided as extra resources and activities you can do on your own to supplement the class. Most of our learning will be done within the classroom through interaction, body movement, and songs. I have an education degree for K-8th grade. I have experience teaching preschool-age children through a Mother's Day Out program where I eventually became the director. I managed the teachers, created a curriculum, and worked hard to make sure each and every child was engaged. I enjoy teaching children and engaging with them. Paper and something to write with. OR whiteboard and dry erase marker. Magnadoodles work great, too! Your student will need these items if they will be writing letters and numbers in class. Note: We do write letters in class, but some children prefer not to write and that is okay, too. They can "trace" my letter, or show me the letter. Let's make learning fun together!
