Learning Goals
- Students will play the 10 folk songs and nursery rhymes learned throughout the course.
- Students will memorize the notes corresponding to the keys on the piano, demonstrating knowledge of note names and their positions on the staff.
- Students will comprehend the basics of music notation, including rhythms, time signatures, and note durations.
- Students will grasp the concept of hand positioning and posture while sitting at the piano, understanding the importance of proper technique for playing comfortably and efficiently.
- Students will demonstrate their ability to translate musical notation into piano performance by playing assigned songs with accuracy and expression.
