My First Chess Club- Advanced Gameplay

Get ready to make your next move! My First Chess Club- Advanced Gameplay invites young strategists, ages 8–12, to embark on an exhilarating journey of chess mastery with the legendary Coach Carlos. This on-going club is suited to those who have mastered the fundamentals and are ready to level up! If you're ready to level up from My First Chess Club- Tiny Geniuses, this club is where your chess adventure truly takes off.

✨For beginners or those needing a refresher, it’s recommended to first take Beginner to Winner: Chess Moves, Techniques & Strategies for Absolute Beginners or My First Chess Club- Tiny Geniuses for intermediate players.✨

 ♟️Here’s what your learner will experience♟️

Class Structure-
1.	Tactical Warm-Up: Each session starts with focus on one selective theme. Coach Carlos leads a question-and-answer format to discuss the pros and cons of chess positions.
2.	Strategic Exploration: Students analyze a game highlighting key strategic ideas, engaging in discussions about the reasoning behind each move.
3.	Live Games with Coaching: Using Lichess.org, students will play live games with light coaching, encouragement, and active feedback to build their confidence and expertise.
Additional Features. Students need to be able to complete a full game on lichess.com
•	Personalized Learning: Coach Carlos tailors lessons to students skill level and ensuring fresh material every week.


Prerequisites-
Tech Preparedness: Students need to be able to navigate between Zoom and Lichess.org, as well as copy and paste links from Zoom Chat into a separate browser. 

Make sure your child is comfortable with Lichess.org before joining the class. Please use the website version instead of the app for a smoother experience. Turning on Kid Mode is highly recommended.
