Description
Class Experience
**Students do need their own copy to read from during class. Is your student ready for chapter books or do you want them to read more? This class is designed for students reading on a 2nd grade reading level. It is a great group for solid second-grade readers, advanced first-graders or third-graders that may need more confidence and practice. However, this is not your ordinary book club! Each week in class, we will read the books listed below round robin style (think small reading groups)....
Students will work on - Fluency Independent Reading Skills Using Context Clues for Unfamiliar Vocabuarly Reading Comprehension
Students will be assigned reading pages. After finishing each book, students will be given a book review worksheet to fill out and share with their parent.
Students are required to have a copy of the book.
I will be more than happy to provide my classroom observations.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
