Class Experience
The students will read My Father's Dragon. This book is at a third to fourth-grade reading level. The readers will work on reading and comprehension skills in class. They will discuss the book with other students. They will practice explaining their opinions to others. We will also talk about the fantasy genre. The students will briefly learn about the different animals that Elmer meets throughout the book. The students will read one or two chapters per class. This will allow us to have...
This class is taught in English.
The students will practice reading and answering comprehension questions.
The students may need to read one or two pages independently.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
