In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to solve involving multiplying a multiple digit number (up to 3 digits) by a double digit number. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using the standard algorithm, partial products or area model method to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a basic understanding of single digit multiplication and/or multiplication facts before taking this class. Please schedule your sessions carefully, as missed sessions will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Students should have writing utensils with them during this class. If the student hasn't mastered their multiplication facts, then the student should also have a multiplication chart with them to reference as needed.
