In my weekly lessons, I will be focusing on each student's goals and needs. I work my way up from the very basis which is basic technique and understanding of the instrument. Depending on the age and student's motivation, I provide the student with the basis of music theory such as reading music and how to easily find said notes on the instrument. My regular follow up for beginning students is as follows but not restricted to: Week of 02/22/2022: Introduction to Violin/ Violin parts, how to properly get a sound, basic open string exercises on A and D strings. Week of 03/01/2022: Fingered notes part 1/Left-hand exercises with one finger, different rhythms on the bow, A and D strings. Week of 03/08/2022: Fingered notes part 2/ Adding 2nd finger to the exercises, using GDAE strings. Week of 03/15/2022: Fingered notes part 3/ making a new song by ourselves and using what we have learned in previous clasess. Week of 03/22/2022: Fingered notes on sheet music/ finding the notes we have learned on real music and playing new music by reading it with professor. A regular class with me will start with some basic scales or music exercises to warm up those little muscles in our hands that are essential in the process. Continuing with some known material previously worked in class, and finally the assignment for the next lesson which I will explain and give advise on how to practice during the week. Questions will always be welcome and highly encouraged, even outside the class time. I am very active with my inbox and check my phone and email often. My teaching style varies a lot with each student but in general is very relax and supportive. In my class I always encourage students to interact not only with me but also with other students in the class by playing some music games, leading group scales, and helping out each other by spotting things to improve as a group or individually. Finally, no prior experience is needed. I am sure we will learn anything we need together to become the best we can. ;)
Learning Goals

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Sources
Metronome & Tuner, this is a device that helps us to tune our instruments and also helps us to practice. Also found as an app, it contains two functions; Tuner, I use this app to tune my instrument. Metronome, I use this app to practice my scales and new songs once I am in tune.
YouTube, I use this platform to provide the students with an instructive video where I teach the basic knowledge for them to keep their instrument in tune prior to the lesson. In this way we do not spend extra time in our class.
Aditional material needed will be either provided or asked by the professor ahead of time.
