Class Experience

In this one-time class, students will warm-up their voices for singing as well as do a short physical warm-up for dance. We will delve "Into the Unknown" and sing through the song as I offer a few vocal tips and tricks to help them open up their voices. I will guide a short discussion of the characters in the musical and how to bring them to life on stage. Students will then learn the dance step by step as we build the dance section by section through repetition. At the end of class, we will perform the song and dance in character from the top! My teaching style focuses on building technique through training and knowledge, but also emphasizes having fun and building confidence so students can become the performer they want to be.

Learning Goals

Students will learn a song and dance routine they can perform, helping them sharpen their memorization skills and strengthening their vocal and dance technique.
