Musical Theater Masterclass has three main elements: warm up, lesson and performance. Students are led through a vocal warm to make sure they are ready to sing, after that we will have a lesson on the history of the musical Into the Woods and the composer Steven Sondheim, finally, we will learn how to sing and perform two songs from the musical ("I Know Things Now" and "No One is Alone"). 

This Masterclass is educational but more importantly, it is fun. It is for young artists who really care about storytelling through acting and music. There is no required knowledge needed before signing up, just an readiness to be involved and a desire to learn something new. My teaching style is very much hands on and I love it when students sing and comment throughout the class (as long as it pertains to the music we are discussing). I am so excited to meet you all!
