A week long musical theater camp full of singing and dancing along to "The Wiz," culminating in a fun performance opportunity at the end of the week.
Class experience
In this week-long performance class, we will learn about famous Broadway Shows and learn choreography for our final performance at the end of the session. Get your jazz hands ready! In this upbeat remake of the famous "Wizard of Oz," we will have so much fun dancing to the tunes of the 2015 cast recording. We will also watch a short clip from the shows during our water break so they get an idea of what the show looks like with the costumes, dancers, and stage, which will lead to a discussion...
Please make sure your child takes the class in an open area where they will not accidentally kick something or put themselves in danger. Ideally, the space would not be slippery, but if it is a slippery surface, it is recommended to use non-stick socks or shoes. Parents and guardians should remain nearby to assist and prevent accidents. Having a water bottle nearby is ideal. If class is taken during warmer months, it is ideal to have an air conditioner or fan running to prevent overheating.
