In this music-based course, students will participate in a variety of different 'games' that utilize Musical Executive Functioning techniques, an evidence-based protocol in Music Therapy. These games improve joint attention, fixed attention, and bi-hemispheric communication (primes the brain for learning), all while feeling like a rock-star! Students are requested to bring an instrument or toy instrument of any kind to class. If you do not have one available, household items like pots, pans, spoons, sticks, or anything that shakes will work (even a toilet paper roll filled with rice!)
