A one-on-one ongoing private vocal lesson for singers of all ages
Class experience
In a private half-hour voice lesson, we will work together to build strong foundations of vocal technique. Lessons will begin with a physical warm up, breath work, and a vocal warm up. We will work together on age-appropriate musicianship, technique, and repertoire, all leading to performance skills. Singers will be encouraged to discover, learn, and grow their own unique voices. Ms. Annette has been teaching private and group voice lessons for over 25 years. She possesses a degree in music as well as a music education instructional certification. She is a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers) and is a Certified Vocal First Aider, and has additional training, licensing, and certification in Conversational Solfege, First Steps in Music, Kindermusik, and Musikgarten techniques.
Homework Offered
Students are encouraged to practice in between lessons. Good practice technique will be discussed as part of lessons.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Informal assessment and feedback is part of every lesson. Students will progress and move forward as they hone their skills and practice new repertoire and techniques.Grades Offered
Music may be recommended for purchase as lessons progress.
Lesson materials are stored in a secure Google classroom folder. Please let me know if there are any types of music (ie: holiday or patriotic music) you would prefer your child not sing.
