Description

Class Experience

In a private half-hour voice lessons, we will work together to build strong foundations of vocal technique. Lessons will begin with a physical warm up, breath work, and a vocal warm up. With a knowledge that children are not mini-adults and that younger students have specific developmental needs as their voices grow and mature, we will work together on age-appropriate musicianship, technique, and repertoire, all leading to performance skills. Ms. Annette has been teaching private and group voice lessons for over 25 years. She possesses a degree in music as well as a music education instructional certification. She is a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers) and is a Certified Vocal First Aider.

Students are encouraged to practice in between classes. 
Good practice technique will be discussed as part of lessons.

Singers are encouraged to provide music and find backing tracks for the songs they wish to sing. They will also need a second device that can play the backing track. Feel free to reach out to Ms. Annette for help with this!

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
