In these weekly 1:1 private ukulele lessons, students of all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) will learn to pick and strum their ukulele using method books based on their current level of playing.
Class experience
In these weekly private one on one ukulele lessons, beginning, intermediate and early advanced ukulele students will learn how to play their ukulele. Beginner students will be using the Hal Leonard Ukulele Method Book 1, which should be purchased by the students before class begins. No prior knowledge is required. This class is taught in English.
Students will begin to learn the basics of playing the ukulele. Hopefully they will enjoy playing the ukulele and continue playing in the future.
I have 20 years of experience teaching Music in a classroom setting. I have also been teaching online live classes since 2018. I taught this curriculum via pre-recorded video lessons March-June 2020 when schools close down due to coronavirus. I am well acquainted with teaching online.
Homework Offered
Since practice is an important part of learning a musical instruments, it is recommended that students practice at least 15 minutes per day for 4 days per week, for a total of 60 minutes per week. Practice logs will be provided.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
