Daily Expectations for Music Therapists in real world settings: On a daily basis, Music Therapists sing or play musical instruments, such as keyboard, guitar, or percussion instruments. They observe and document client reactions, progress, or other outcomes related to music therapy. This can be with adults or children of specific age groups. It may also include working in the NeoNatal unit in hospitals and/or pediatric centers.
There is no homework for this one-time class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The discussion portion of our class will provide assessment on an informal basis to check for understanding.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
There will be nothing graphic shown or discussed. Please note that the word 'trauma' may be used in ways to facilitate understanding between our activities and how they can work on a traumatized child or adult.
