Class Experience
In Music Theory: Reviewing Treble Clef and Bass Clef, we will review the neumonic phrases previously learned that help us rememebr the placement of notes on the treble and bass clef. Treble Clef and Bass Clef exercises will be provided for homework. Students will be introduced to the concept of “The Grand Staff” We will also play ear training games, praticing recognizing climbing and descending tones versus those that repeat, as well as introducing the sound of broken vs. Blocked chords....
Owning a piano or keyboard is helpful, but not necessary to enjoy this course
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
