This course follows the RCM program of music theory. Students will learn various technical elements, such as scales and arpeggios, studies and etudes, and several pieces of music. At the end of the year, they can either take a practice exam with me or be ready to take the official RCM exams (if desired and if in Canada). After enrolling, please send me a message to let me know what level your child is at, what they have studied previously, and any other important information you want me to know. I teach RCM music theory levels 1-6, and will assess your child as needed to make sure they are at the right level for their need! Student age is not important if they are at the levels indicated.
