Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this one time class, the students will learn what a major scale is, listen to major scales, learn what sharps and flats are, and learn how to create some major scales.  They will also have an option to sing and/or play a major scale if they wish.  This class is created for students who want to know about major scales, but don't necessarily want to take a whole music theory course right now.

Other Details

Supply List
I suggest that students have a notebook or a sheet of paper and something to write with, in case they want to take notes.  It’s not required, though.  Also, if students are interested in playing a major scale on an instrument, they should have the instrument close by and ready to play before class begins.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
