In this music theory camp, students will engage in music theory lessons that will help them build their music reading skills. In the first week, students will learn how to read notes in the treble clef and learn to read simple rhythm patterns. In the second week, they will expand on their knowledge and read notes in the bass clef and learn how different meters are organized in music. We will learn all of this material using fun games and interactive lessons.
I have been a music educator for over ten years and I specialize in engaging music instruction for upper elementary students.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
