In this four-week camp, students will be introduced to a range of skills relating to music technology, including digital performance, recording, mixing, and video editing. These skills will be covered through project-based learning using and learning to use various music tech platforms. Students will cover the following topics: Week 1: Introduction to Music Technology-Audio Recording Week 2: How to record, upload, and edit videos Week 3: Mixing Digital Uploads Weel 4: Digital DJing Videos will be uploaded twice a week along with practice assignments, projects, and additional resources to reinforce the concept. Students will use the Outschool classroom to access all materials, instructional videos, and projects. This is a project-based learning course. Therefore, students are taught through guided, and hands-on instruction to allow for creativity and student-centered learning. Learners will interact with the instructor and other classmates often throughout the class. Students will have the opportunity to engage with one another through platforms such as Flipgrid and discussions on the Outschool classroom. Students will participate in engaging and interactive platforms such as Bandlab for education. Students do not need any prior knowledge or experience to join this course.
