Students will have one project each week posted on Classtrak. Course code: H6C3F Projects will be either (1) making melodies, (2) making drum patterns, or (3) mixing beats. Students will be completing assignments individually. Projects should only take 1-2 hours each week, however, students will be motivated to work on other projects outside of the requirements. Students will also have one pre-class preparation activity each week (including before the first class). This will include listening to their favorite song's instrumental and/or recreating instrumentals from existing songs. Pre-class preparation activities should only take up to an hour each week, however, students will be motivated to pursue other similar activities outside of the requirements.
Each student should have quality headphones and a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation): Image-Line's FL Studio 20.
