Class Experience for Kidpreneurs: Building Your First Business! Get ready to turn your big ideas into real businesses! In this class, you'll learn all the cool stuff about being an entrepreneur, like coming up with a fun business idea, creating a simple plan, and learning how to make and manage money. You'll even discover how to market your business and treat your customers right—just like a real pro! Week 1: Think it up! – Brainstorming awesome business ideas Week 2: Plan it out! – Making your very own business plan Week 3: Show me the money! – Easy ways to manage money and budget Week 4: Spread the word! – Marketing and telling others about your business Week 5: Happy customers, happy you! – Customer service basics Week 6: Pitch it! – Presenting your amazing business idea to the class Each class is packed with fun activities and lasts one hour. We’ll start with a quick introduction to the day’s topic, and then jump into creative games, group work, and interactive activities. In the last class, you’ll get to show off your business idea to the class! We’ll use a mix of fun games, group challenges, and cool videos to help you understand each step of starting your business. You’ll get to use your imagination and create something totally unique while having fun with your classmates. I love making learning fun and exciting! We’ll explore ideas together, get creative, and play games to keep things interesting. I’ll be there to guide you, answer your questions, and help you every step of the way. You’ll have lots of chances to talk, share your ideas, and ask questions. We’ll work together in class, and you’ll even get feedback on your business ideas. Whether it’s brainstorming, playing games, or presenting your project, I’ll be right there with you making sure you have a great time. This class is all about having fun while learning how to be a Kidpreneur, so get ready to dream big and build something amazing!

Introduction to Entrepreneurship
In our first week, we’ll dive into the exciting world of entrepreneurship! Students will learn what it means to be a Kidpreneur and explore the different types of businesses they can create. We’ll discuss the stories of famous young entrepreneurs to inspire our own journeys. Through engaging discussions and fun video clips, students will discover how they can turn their passions into profitable ideas.

Lesson 2:
Think it Up! – Brainstorming Business Ideas
This week is all about creativity and brainstorming! Students will engage in fun activities designed to help them identify their passions and think of business ideas that solve real-world problems. We’ll play the “Business Idea Mash-Up” game to encourage out-of-the-box thinking, and each student will create a vision board to visualize their unique business concept. By the end of the week, everyone will have a clear idea for their first business!

Lesson 3:
Plan it Out! – Crafting a Simple Business Plan
With their business ideas in hand, students will learn how to create a simple business plan. We’ll discuss the key components of a plan, including the business name, products or services offered, and the target customer. Through hands-on activities, students will complete a business plan template and present their ideas in small groups for feedback. By the end of the week, students will understand how to outline their business vision clearly.

Lesson 4:
Show Me the Money! – Budgeting Basics
This week focuses on the financial side of entrepreneurship! Students will learn the basics of budgeting and understand important concepts like costs, revenue, and profit. Through fun games and group activities, they will practice creating a budget for their businesses using “Kidpreneur dollars.” By the end of the week, students will have the skills to manage their business finances wisely.
