Class Experience

This will be a very fun and useful class with trivia of basic music theory for young, new musicians or those that need a refresher course. Children will primarily be asked multiple choice questions regarding rhythm, dynamics, tempo markings, etc., in a quiz show type format. A brief review of certain musical elements will be given as needed. Examples of musical terms and elements covered are forte, piano, legato, half notes, whole notes, treble clef, bass clef, andante, allegro, largo, fermata, staccato, and more. This class is recommended for children that have been reading music or playing an instrument for a year or less. It may also be good for students that have played for several years but need a refresher course.
