Class Experience

Students will learn to listen for high and low sounds, fast and slow, and move to a steady beat. A musical cat shows up and helps them learn even more music! A coloring sheet is provided for after class.(optional). This is a one time class.
No homework.
Pdf coloring sheet for each lesson.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal assessment through watching and answering questions during class.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental supervision is recommended to make sure students are carefully moving in their place or around the room. Movements can be modified to do only while sitting too. Let me know if your student needs movement accommodations.
I refer to the Big Book for Alfred's Music for Little Mozarts Classroom by Donna Brink Fox, Karen Farnum Surmani, Christine Barden, Gale Kowalchyk, and E.L. Lancaster. No student book is necessary.
