This class is taught in English.
Coltyn has an extensive professional music background. He has worked professionally as a performer and a teacher. For this class, Coltyn offers a general music curriculum that he taught for 3 years at a Montessori school. While he taught a mix of kodaly and orff in person, his focus for online teaching is kodaly, which translates well to a virtual classroom. Coltyn's education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal and General Music and Bachelor of Arts in Wide Range Education. He has experience instructing students of all ages, ranging from preschoolers to adults, across musical theatre, pop, and classical styles.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
