US Grade 1 - 4
In this one time class, students will be introduced to major and minor chords (triads). They will hear them, see me play them on piano, and learn how to identify them by ear. They will also learn about and learn to hear the difference between them. Students will have a chance to ask questions and identify major and minor chords during the class.

Supply List
I suggest that students have a notebook or a sheet of paper and something to write with, in case they want to take notes. It’s not required, though.

I’ve been teaching various music subjects, including music theory, to children ages 3 through adults for more than 30 years. I’ve been teaching online since the mid-2000s. I have taught in pre-schools, elementary, middle, and high schools, public and private schools, universities, and my own independent classes. In addition to those experiences, I have many years of experience teaching home schooled children and children with special needs. I have Bachelors and Masters degrees in music education and piano performance.
