What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In each class, I will be focusing on Music Training and occasional Social Graces. Music Training will include learning the eighth note, quarter note, the staff, the rest symbol, ear training, and how music travels up and down. Some examples of Social Graces that I will teach are "Please", "Thank You", "Gratitude", etc. We will also have tons of fun singing, dancing and learning through the songs that we sing. I will teach in a variety of engaging ways. Through books, puppets, visual aids, sign language and movement. In Movement we will jump, dance, sing and have so much fun while reinforcing what we've learned. We will begin class with a welcome song with our class friend Snuggles. He will be present at every class and will become your child's best friend. After the welcome song we will begin our Music Training. After Music Training we will reinforce what we learned through songs using books, visual aids, animals, sign language and movement. In the Spring and Summer, we will have tons of fun singing, dancing and learning through the songs that we sing. We will close each class with a goodbye song with Snuggles as he gives virtual hugs. Course Outline: I believe that music enhances learning. My style of teaching is very encouraging and active. I want your child to feel that they are important, special and loved. The learners will interact with one another by greeting each other and by answering questions together. There is no required experience or knowledge that your learner will need. *Muting* As the teacher, there are also instances where I will need to utilize the mute function. In addition, If there is background noise that may be distracting to other learners enrolled in the class, I may need to mute them and will advise the student that they are being muted to limit the background noise.
Learning Goals
My goal is that your child will not only have a fun-filled learning experience in music class but that he/she will look forward to coming to class because they feel special, important and loved!
