In this 4 week course, learners will explore art through virtual museum tours. We'll learn how to sketch and take beautiful notes in our own style. Let's connect with others who share a passion to travel, draw, and explore museums.

I will cover drawing techniques to develop your own style and quick sketching. We will explore art from different cultures and time periods and have discussions about the art. The class is going to be a place to share with one another our sketches in a social way, yet also have quiet-time to just draw. I pepper my classes with short demonstrations throughout. There will be unfinished drawings and ideas from each museum that I hope you follow up on. By going to the website on your own and spending more time with your drawings. We share out with others throughout the class and offer constructive feedback.
A sketchbook, pencil, brush tip marker/pen (because it's fast) and your favorite medium to give color to your drawings: colored pencils, watercolor pencils, really any color medium that can be applied in your sketchbook.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
