Welcome to the museum! Take a look around. Explore the powerful paintings, sensational sculptures, and amazing artifacts. Do you notice anything strange? Join the detective team to discover who has been causing mischief in the museum. In this class, learners will become detectives and participate in an investigation. They will be asked to come to conclusions about the case by comprehending what they read, making inferences, thinking critically, and finding connections. Every detective will be needed to solve this mystery. Reading aloud and speaking in the discussion are essential to our success. We will work as a team to determine how the clues can lead us to the answer. The information will be shown via a shared screen Google Slide presentation. The students will take turns reading and decide whether we need to go back and view a suspect or room again. After reading through all of the details, our team will have to determine who has caused all this trouble and figure out what their motive was. This class does not require any previous knowledge. Curiosity about mysteries and museums is a must.
Learning Goals
Students will use reading analysis skills to find meaning and draw conclusions. They will also practice speaking and listening skills through discussion.
