Museums can be intimidating! Let me help by introducing your students to museum manners, museum basics, and how to make the most of your visit to your museum! I will cover topics like defining a museum and what they do, using indoor voices, navigating museum spaces, museum safety, how to read a label, how to find learning materials at a museum, and how to access the museum collection once you get home. This class is conversational and allows students to ask questions. If you plan to visit a museum soon, let me know what type of museum it is and I am happy to create a custom lesson for your student!
Students will learn museum expectations and how to visit safely for themselves and the collection. They will learn how to access learning resources at the museum and at home to make the most of their visit!
Students may want paper and a writing tool to take notes.
