In this unique class students will understand what the purpose of mural paintings is and how to adjust a small painting to a big wall composition.
Class experience
With the introduction of murals and short video description the students will be ready to create a simple project of a mural on their own. I will guide them to do the composition's objects according to the interior principles and the way to put elements together on the wall. I will draw a sample and then at home they will do their own sketch for the next class. The second session of the class will include the real painting in class. The class participants will become familiar of the function of the mural painting and learn how to make it.
International Artist Muralist with a certification of Grumbacher company. Participation in Art exhibitions and live demo paintings. Teaching for over 15 years, all ages and levels. Created murals for schools and private homes. Lessons range from 1-2-3 simple paintings to detailed professional artworks. Loves acrylic and colors.
Homework Offered
Simple project of students' bedroom wall decoration by painting.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
An art critic will be offered at the end of the class.Grades Offered
Pencils HB; Erasers; Black Sharpie marker; Paints - White, Black, Red, Yellow, Green tubes or cups (also a standard set of colors is OK); Brushes #1,2 (round), 5, 8, 11 (one flat at least) or a regular school set; Drawing pad 11x14 (medium surface) or similar size, cup for water, paper towel, palette. Recommendation for Michaels store, but all other supplies sources are OK.
