Description
Class Experience
Learners will begin the experiment in class but finish after class with their observations as they let their apples sit for a decided upon time.
1 file available upon enrollmentA muffin tin 8 apple slices 1 cup of salt 1 cup of baking soda 1 cup of vinegar bandaging or paper towel strips
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Death will be briefly mentioned in the following context: "Ancient Egyptians used the mummification process as a way to honor their dead". The purpose of this class is not to discuss these rituals but to focus on figuring out which household item is a desiccant.
