I will read "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" in a fun and engaging manner to encourage students to actively listen and participate in the story. The class will be structured in the following manner: 1. Hello Song 2. Introduce characters and vocabulary words to listen for during the story. 3. Use a variety of hand and body motions during the story. 4. Share their favorite part of the story. 5. Goodbye Song *This multi-sensory approach helps young children grow in different learning strategies. After class, I will post a story sequencing activity that you can print and do at home. I am excited to look, listen and move with your learner!

Hi! My name is Ms. Paige and I am so excited to share my passion of phonemic awareness and Dr. Seuss with your children.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado. I have taught preschool and elementary students in private schools, public schools and home school (my two sons for 12 years). I have also taught over 1500 classes of English Language lessons online to Chinese students in the past 18 months. I have taught many different academic subjects but I especially love teaching young children speech and language skills.
