US Grade 3 - 12
These private lessons will use a structured literacy program based on phonological-coding research and Orton-Gillingham principles to directly and systematically teach the structure of the English language. Each session will be tailored to the individual learner's needs and follow a step-by-step process to teach the phonemic sounds, rules, and six syllable types of the English language in a fun, multisensory manner. This type of instruction has been found to aid in decoding and encoding skills for both the struggling and emerging readers. These sessions can be a good fit for learners who are just beginning to read and struggling, learners already diagnosed with dyslexia, or those who have a specific reading disability and need some extra practice. *Cover art by Clever Visuals
