Students will learn the rules for multiply fractions step by step and demonstrate comprehension with a few examples. We will then do the same thing with mix numbers and whole numbers. This lesson is meant to introduce, practice and extend. The last minutes will be used to discuss the notes taken and steps needed to multiply fractions, this will allow me to check for understanding. Students will leave the lesson with notes organized in a manner that they will be able to come back to for any future assignments they might have.

The goal of this lesson is to have students master the popular lesson of multiplying fractions, improper fractions, and mix numbers.Other Details

Please have your child come prepared with a graph paper notebook (preferably), paper and pencil, pens, highlighters and any other material that would make note-taking more fun.
