The student will learn how to multiply and divide fractions. In order to complete the learning, they will also be introduced to mixed numbers and how to convert them to and from fractions. Finally, they will learn about the Multiplicative Inverse of a number. Class 1 will introduce the new vocabulary, review add/subt fractions, and present the process of multiplication of fractions. After teaching Middle School math, I have found that fractions are a stumbling block for students as they move forward. I love to work on classes that I see as being the foundation for higher math.
I will provide all worksheets, a Factor Table, visuals and any video links that might be helpful. The student needs to have pencils, erasers and paper.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
