*This class is for students just learning to multiply. If your student already knows their 1 digit times 1 digit facts, I would recommend taking the "2 digit Multiplication using the Break Apart Method" class. In this one day class, we will get our brains warmed up by skip counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's. Students will then work on breaking numbers apart into smaller chunks to help them multiply bigger or more difficult numbers. Many students have a hard time learning their 6's, 7's, 8's, 12's and other times tables. We will practice breaking those up into numbers that we can solve. For example, we can break 7 up into 5 and 2. 7x4= (5x4)+(2x4) If you are interested in an ongoing class option I have ongoing classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced multiplication.

Students will need paper and pencil or a white board and marker to help them solve their equations.
