Description
Class Experience
I have taught and tutored math ranging from preschool to the college level for the past 22 years. I enjoy math and it is my passion to help students build their math confidence. My goal is to build confidence in an engaging way so my students feel successful.
Confidence work (CW) will be assigned every week. I encourage every student to complete the provided confidence work to help build confidence and strengthen fraction skills. The weekly confidence work should take less than half an hour to complete. If at any time a student needs assistance or has a question regarding confidence work, I recommend posting the question in the classroom.
Pencil and paper is needed. This class will be using Nearpod.com and no login is required. Students will be given the link(s) in the weekly classroom postings.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
