What better way to learn multiplication facts than by exploring all the different Gimkit game modes? In this one-time class, learners will have the opportunity to practice multiplication facts 0-12 while playing an online game. Multiplication master takes time and repeated practice, so why not practice in while playing an exciting game? During our time together, learners will complete several different games with multiplication facts broken into two groups, 0-5 and 6-12. Gimkit is an online game that does not require a login or membership. Learners should have a second device (kindle, phone, Ipad, etc.) or know how to split their screen. This will enable them to see me on zoom while accessing the game at https://www.gimkit.com/join Learners should have a basic working knowledge of multiplication facts 0-12 before class. Learners are welcome to use a multiplication chart to aid in their skill mastery.

I grew up in Wisconsin where I completed my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education at UW Stout. I've taught for the public school system for 14 years in a variety of positions including classroom teacher, interventionist, ELL teacher and elementary science lab teacher. I hold a Masters Degree in Reading and School Administration from Johns Hopkins. After leaving the public school system I've spent the last several years teaching middle school Science and History at a homeschool tutorial while being a homeschool mom. I enjoy teaching hands on engaging courses that spark the interest of students with the ultimate goal of encouraging them to become life long learners. I welcome student interaction and questions.
In my personal life I LOVE to read, travel and explore new areas, especially the beach! I am a Girl Scout leader and adore every single girl in my troop. As a troop leader I am certified in several outdoors areas- archery, canoe, kayak, camping, etc. I can't wait to share some of my love of the outdoors with families here on Outschool. Reviews
